Lentivirus-mediated STAT3-inhibition abrogates IgE- and PDGF-induced proliferation in HASM cells. (A) IgE-induced STAT3 phosphorylation was determined by Western blotting. (C) Expression of total STAT3 in wild-type (WT or non-transduced), scramble-shRNA, and STAT3-shRNA–transduced HASM cells was analyzed by Western blotting. (D) Stably lentivirus-transduced HASM cells were stimulated with IgE, PDGF-BB, or 10% FBS, and 3H-thymidine incorporation was performed.
