- The four higher doses were prepared introducing the necessary volume from the original syringe (60 mg/ml) into four insulin syringes (0.55, 0.25, 0.125 and 0.05 ml respectively). For the four smaller doses, appropriate dilutions were made with saline solution, starting from the original syringe. The solutions were valid for 24 h, and were protected from light and refrigerated
