VitD deficiency increases the number of eosinophil and lymphocyte infiltrates in the lung of mice with HDM-induced allergic airway inflammation. Following inducing allergic airway inflammation by HDM injection, the numbers of different types of inflammatory infiltrates in in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) samples were hematological stained and counted in a blinded manner. Data are shown as mean ± SD of each group (n = 6 mice per group) from three separate experiments, *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01 ***p < 0.001
