A complete ring of creamy white infiltrates outside the treatment zone with intact corneal epithelium over the infiltrates and intervening clear zone between the infiltrates and the limbus in both eyes at 1 day after SMILE (a, b). Creamy white infiltrates began to decrease and stage 1 diffuse lamellar keratitis (DLK) occurred in right eye and stage 2 DLK in left eye at 3 days after SMILE (c, d).
