  1. Cases were coded as 1 and controls as 0 on the child AD status variable. The infant’s food allergy status (i.e., yes vs. no), number of adults in the home as well as the mother’s age, relationship status, employment status, allergic disease history, education, whether the mother had a child/children previously, and whether the mother had other children with AD were included as covariates in each of the analyses
