Following this treatment, animals were later exposed to distilled water (H2O), TNF-α, or TNF-α and peanut butter (TNF-α + PB) on Day 43. After a further 2 weeks, all mice received an ear punch challenge to the left ear with crude peanut extract in distilled water on Day 57.
